Internet Research Volunteer

 

 

Summary

 

 

The Internet Research Volunteer is a mission critical, administrative and technical support position responsible for assisting to locate phone numbers using internet research.  Volunteers will help to identify people who may likely be eligible for the extra help for Medicare Part D.  Work to be completed on Fridays during the month of May, 2007.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

·        Maintains a high level of confidence and commitment in all aspects of position;

·        Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking, highly personalized environment;

  • Exercises professional judgment and maintains a high level of confidentiality;
  • Enters addresses on internet sites to look up phone numbers.  Once phone numbers are found they will need to be entered into a database.
  • Computer lab where work will be performed is available on each Friday in the month of May, 2007.  Times are flexible.
  • Will work alone or with a group in a computer lab setting at Fairhill Center.

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Computer skills – typing, internet research and Excel database entry proficiency.
  • Professional appearance, attire and demeanor.
