Who is a caregiver?

You are not alone!

A Caregiver is anyone who provides unpaid care and support, to adult family members or friends who are frail elderly, cronically ill, or have a disability.

According to the National Long term Care Survey, over 7 million people are informal caregivers, i.e. spouses, adult children, and the relatives and friends.

Caregiving can be both a difficult as well as rewarding experience and sometimes we are so deeply concerned about the well being of the person we are caring for, that we forget our own needs.
