Assistive Technology is any item, piece of equipment, product or system that is used to increase, maintain or improve the abilities of individuals with limitations.

From grab bars in the bathroom to provide support and thick handled kitchen tools for arthritic hands, to a front door that opens and closes at the touch of a button, assistive technologies help to make daily tasks more manageable.

A selection of assistive technology and tools are showcased throughout the Care and Caregiving Center. Those who visit the center will receive:
